The Late Njambi Koikai
Her Story
Our story dates back to June 2024 when Njambi Koikai, a celebrated Radio Presenter in Kenya succumbed to Endometriosis after many years of failed diagnosis and treatments.
Njambi, whom this work is modeled on, was diagnosed with thoracic endometriosis at age 29 and succumbed to the disease at age 38 although she had contracted the disease at age 13.
Inspired by Njambi’s courageous battle, the founder-initiated activities that would help raise awareness, mobilize resources and find innovative ways of treating endometriosis.
